Arrival at Kentville Our second destination in Nova Scotia is Kentville, visiting family here was a highlight for us. Maritime hospitality and friendliness is unbeatable and is probably is what is missed the most by people who leave here.
Kentville lies in the Annapolis Valley and is widely renowned for it's Apple Blossom festival each May Annapolis Vally
Sea Cave Not far from town Hall's Harbour was at low tide and we explored what was and soon will be the sea floor finding a couple of caves at the base of the 100' cliffs. That's our cousin Leslie gingerly stepping along the stone beach.
Also on the main page of this site this shot is the only one of the 3 of us, this was taken at Hall's Harbour as well. Beach at Hall's Harbour
Family Portrait A family shot from left to right; Leslie, Andrew, Dorothy, Bruce, Céline, Shayna(dog) and Richard(me)
